Point to Point

In order to gain an understanding of travel times or traffic patterns LPR cameras can be used to track individual vehicle movements from a single site to multiple sites or a highway. Valuable data around most used traffic routes, entry and exit times and time taken from one point to the other can be uncovered using this system.

Explanation

By placing cameras at a start point and cameras at an end point our system records the ‘dwell time’ or the elapsed time it’s taken from the first to the last read. This can be done on large scale distance like highways or it can be done on a smaller scale at university campuses or between delivery depots for example. .
